Community Groups - Terms and Conditions

By registering with this site, you agree to accept the following rules:

1)	Users will construct and maintain their group pages using only software provided via the mysthelens.org site.

2)	Users are responsible for all content and materials included in their pages.

3)	Page content will not include any personally identifiable material (e.g. addresses, phone numbers etc) without the prior knowledge and agreement of the individual.

4)	Page content will not contain any information that is inappropriate for publication on a community website e.g.	Indecent
				Dishonest
							Defamatory
							Obscene

5)	Page content will not link to any external sites that are inappropriate for a community website.

6)	Page content will not contain any information which amounts to contempt of court, or an infringement of any intellectual property rights belonging to a third party.  Should any such content be published, the group will be responsible for any losses incurred.

7)	Users are responsible for gaining appropriate permission from the subjects of any photographic images prior to publishing them on the site.

8)	Users will inform the St.Helens Council web team of any problems found in accessing or using the web pages.

9)	Users will inform St.Helens Council about any complaints they may receive regarding their pages, or any other content on the mysthelens.org site.

10)	Users will not use the community directory pages to make any financial gain, or permit any third party to do so.

11)	Users will not us the community directory pages to advertise any profit-making business or service.

12)	Users will not share their user name and/or password with any other parties.

Our commitment to you

1)	This website is for local community groups in St.Helens to freely publish information about their organisation.

2)	St.Helens Council will provide you with a user name and password to create group information and edit the details.

3)	St.Helens Council reserve the right to refuse membership to any groups that do not meet the membership criteria.

4)	St.Helens Council will check all new group details before they go live on the site, and reserve the right to reject entries or updates that are unsuitable.

5)	St.Helens Council will maintain the site, subject to any errors or malfunctions that are beyond their control.
