- Pilkington Choir
- A group of almost 40 men & women who sing together for pleasure. Singers of all ages are welcome - at present our ages range from 22 to 80 years. We sing a wide variety of music ranging from Songs from the Shows to Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Carpenters, ABBA, modern composers. The emphasis is very much on fun to sing numbers. You don't have to read music but the ability to sing in tune is essential.
We are led by two fine musicians - Anne O'Hara, Conductor and Dorothy Parr on piano.
Rehearsals are held every Tuesday at The Pilkington Pensioners Activity Centre on Ruskin Drive. Concerts take place at a variety of venues throughout St Helens and within a 15 mile radius.
