Without the support of the community and the free band room facility provided by Viridor Ltd, Lancots Lane, the band would not be able to sponsor the younger band members, who are learning to play and are annually entered into the Associated Board Music Examinations. The band contests locally in the 3rd section and nationally in the 4th section. Senior Band and Training band rehearsals take place Wednesday, Friday and Saturday covering both groups.
